Labour market programmes

Personal injury cover during labour market programmes applies to persons who participate in labour market policy programmes where development benefit or development allowance is paid. The cover also applies to persons participating in the job and development programme.

The cover corresponds to accident cover under occupational injury insurance and applies to occupational injury that occurs during the programme or on the way to and from its activities.

The cover does not apply to persons in receipt of business start-up grants.

The personal-injury cover is for those who:

  • are currently in a labour market programme with development benefit, development allowance or introduction benefit.
  • are on obligatory field trips or in survey discussions regarding their professional skills.
  • have a job guarantee for young people under the age of 18, or participating in the job and development programme without receiving development benefit or development allowance.
