What happens if a participant in a labour market policy programme causes damage or injury.

If a participant in a labour market policy programme causes damage or injury at his or her employer's or training provider's premises, compensation may be paid.
Compensation will be paid for personal injury for property damage inflicted on the employer or training provider, regardless of whether the person who caused the injury is at blame for the damage or not. The same applies to the issue of pure property damage inflicted on the employer or training provider through criminal action.
How and when compensation is paid is governed by Regulation (SFS 1980:631) for compensation by public funds for damage caused by participants in labour market policy programmes or vocational rehabilitation, etc.
