Order insurance certificate
Sometimes there is a need to prove what insurance
you have, for example when applying for a visa or during exchange studies. It can also be good to be able to show what insurance coverage you have if you become sick and need to seek medical care.
A certificate may be what is needed.
Are you going on a trip?
If you are travelling and need a certificate, contact your university or the state authority where you have your employment. They will assist you with a certificate.
For those of you who are an authorised administrator
As an authorised administrator at a state authority or university, you can order a certificate template from us and then fill in a certificate template for employees or students who are going to travel. On the insurance certificate you fill in the name, date of birth and insurance period. Then sign and stamp the insurance certificate. For employees be sure to write the insurance certificate for a maximum of two years ahead as the terms or contact details on the certificate may change. It is not allowed to write certificates for yourself.
If necessary, you as an authorised administrator can order an insurance certificate issued by us.
Insurance certificates replace previous insurance cards
We have now switched to insurance certificates in A4 format. We have removed the previous insurance cards, in the form of paper cards, for employees and students (such as MIC cards and Business travel insurance cards) and these will no longer be used.
We annually send out a certificate template for the A4 certificate Insurance Certificate to our contact person in connection with the extension of the respective group insurance. You as an authorised administrator can also order the certificate template from us.

Ordering an insurance certificate
If you are an authorised administrator, you can also order an insurance certificate issued by us for an individual. Make sure you order in advance so that we can issue the insurance certificate before you need it.

- The type of insurance this concerns
- Name and personal ID number/birthdate of the person(s) holding the certificate
- The insurance period
After you submit your order, you will receive a confirmation that we have received the order. Usually we process the order within a few days.
Order a Green Card for vehicles to be used for the trip
If you are going to use a vehicle on a trip abroad, you may need a Green Card for the vehicle. The Green Card is proof that your vehicle is covered by traffic insurance and shows that your Swedish motor insurance applies in all other countries within the Green Card system. The vehicle must be insured with us.

Order certificates for your organisation, ships or aircrafts
As an authorised administrator at a state authority, you can order a certificate for your organisation from us. For example, a ship may need to be moved or an aircraft may need to fly internationally.
