The email contains a link to an email service with our questions. Click on the link to answer the questions. You will need your case number (it starts with 15.6 and you will find it in the email), as well as destination and departure date for the trip you have applied compensation for.
You should not log in with a e-identification (for example bank-ID) or enter your account number in the e-service.
We need your answers within 7 days of receiving this email.
Have you booked more trips with the same tour operator?
If you have sent several applications for reimbursement from the travel guarantee with Detur Sweden AB, you have received several emails from us with different case numbers, one for each case. It is important that you answer the questions in each case. You will be asked to state the departure date and destination for each case. If you do not know which of your trips belongs to which case, we can still determine which case your answer refers to based on the departure dates and destinations you specify. You must give an answer for each trip with the tour operator.
Status in processing right now
At the end of October 2022, the travel operators Detur Sweden AB, Detur Norway Nuf, Detur Danmark Aps, Matkatoimisto Detur Finland Oy and Norden Travel Services AB were declared bankrupt. In total, Kammarkollegiet has received roughly 13,200 applications for compensation. To register and process this large amount of cases, registrars, administrators and case managers have been temporarily employed.
Decisions on compensation have been made in Norden Travel Services AB and we have also started to decide on compensation regarding Detur Norway Nuf.
What is happening in my case and why is it taking so long?
Before we can start making decisions about compensation in Detur Sweden AB, all cases must be reviewed to see if the travel guarantee provided is sufficient for all travelers entitled to compensation. Each application for compensation is handled individually and many applications are incomplete and must be supplemented. It is therefore important that you complete your case if we have requested this from you and immediately notify us if you have received compensation in another way.

If you have received a request for completion from us (look in your spam/junk folder to be safe) and have not yet answered it, it is very important that you do so immediately – you must answer both the request and the questions asked in the link.
If I am entitled to compensation – when will the money arrive?
We plan to start making decisions about compensation during the month of August.
