Information for you who applied for reimbursement from the travel guarantee regarding Detur and others

Travel operators Detur Sweden AB, Detur Norway Nuf, Detur Danmark Aps and Matkatoimisto Detur Finland Oy and Norden Travel Services AB were declared bankrupt in October 2022. Note that the application period has expired to be able to receive compensation from the travel operators' travel guarantee.
Before we can make a decision in your case regarding reimbursement from the travel guarantee, we always review all cases that have come to us. As a result of Detur's bankruptcy, we have received approximately 13,200 applications for compensation. The majority of applications need to be supplemented. This, together with the large amount of cases, means that the processing time is much longer than normal. We therefore expect a processing time of at least six months. If we need to request a supplement, we will contact you. We are grateful if you, as an applicant, are waiting for information on your case.

Notify us immediately if you have already received or will receive reimbursement from another source. You must then withdraw your application at the Kammarkollegiet, otherwise you may be liable to repay what you received too much in reimbursement. Notify Kammarkollegiet via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org that you have received reimbursement in another way and that you want to withdraw your application.
